Crappie chick trib

Hit a trib to the Chick looking for crappie from the canoe.  Ended up with exactly one.  Lots of others fishing.  I thought it was going to be better, especially since my brother fished the day before and brought in 2 that were 14" long (and several others).

It's getting time to load up with some jigs and take the jet up the stones past the shallowest shoal and all the natives, to get a mess for myself.

Had a pretty "crappy" afternoon yesterday on the Chick... but sure better than sitting at home!
