what is your ratio of big fish caught while wading at public access places compared to having a boat and covering lots more water?

All the big fish are in the pool by the dam, right?  No need to venture more than a hundred yards or so downstream of the dam is there???  That's what I was told....

so, so correct you are ;), I was just wondering if everone else though that way also. Honestly, two largest fish I've seen on the Elk was during generation, I was standing in the parking lot by the dam/Hwy 50 bridge, both were together swimming up the bank, turned up Murrell Creek, looked like two Nuke subs.

Hey guys. Long time reader first time poster.  I have caught more big fish 20+" all over the caney this year compared to past years.  I have a kayak that i use but most of my big fish have come from or near access areas.
"It won't come of the trailer" "WHAT?" Push it!

"Chad, why are my cookies floating?” Oh! @#$% the drain plug!

Welcome to the board hatch. The largest Brown we caught Sat I hooked just in front of a guy sitting in a lawn chair with power eggs on the bottom. He asked if we were doing any good and before I could get the words out BAM! Didn't measure her but she was pretty close to 20.  ;D
