RiverHawk For Sale--SOLD
« on: January 30, 2007, 06:00:01 PM »
CONGRATS Houston!!

Have fun, be safe.

2/15/07--Price Reduced to $5,000.00

I need to turn some things into cash so I can take advantage of a business deal otherwise, I wouldn't part with this rig.

2006 RiverHawk B-60 Pro Caster Model
Com-Fab Trailer W/Submersible lights and Lighted Goalposts
15 Horse Honda Four Stroke
40 Pound Thrust MinnKota Power Drive Bow Mounted trolling motor.
2 Pedastal Swivel Seats
On Board Battery Charger
Anchor and Anchor Rein
Paddle
2 New Life Jackets
Boat Cover

It's been parked in the garage, except for the half dozen times I've had it out, since I bought it from Mike.

It's not in 100% PERFECT condition, but I'd have no problem saying it's in 98% condition.

Many here have seen it/been in it. If you think that 98% ain't right, you're welcome to add your opinion.

I took $6,000 out of the bank to buy the boat and add the boat cover, life jackets, dry bag, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, etc a few months ago. I never even took a picture of it, but here's one from Mike's album.

Asking $5,500.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

I forgot-There's also a fish/depth/temp finder with quick release mount. Snazzy Toddro, very snazzy.  ;) Mike rigged it all, so you know it's done right.

Close Mike. Here's my plan. Buy a 4x4 conversion van. Put some big balloon tires on it and fire up a mobile Bikini Wax business right on the beach. Whaddya think?

(Man, I'm gonna miss this boat.)

Good question Rman. I'll go measure it. Be right back.

EDIT--From transom to bow it's 15'2".

From back of motor to end of hitch it's 20'6".

Thanks for asking.

This is a good deal on this boat. I sold it much cheaper then I had invested. Ron has only used it but a few times so it is still in great condition. I added some extra items like lighted guide on poles for the trailer. Sealed LED tail lights. An Eagle 420x420 graph with temp sensor. Anchor Reign self retracting rope with self locking pulley system. Minn Kota 40# thrust electric (co-pilot ready) trolling motor.

The Honda 15 is a good running motor that starts very easily and runs smooth. It will run fine against generation and does well fishing the lake too. About all I can say about the motor is, it’s a Honda and it’s still almost new, nuff said.

The boat is about as stable as any 15' boat you can buy and very lightweight so you can pull it over a gravel bar if needed. I've been stranded in my Lowe aluminum Jon because I couldn't get it over a bar. Not going to happen with the Riverhawk.

If you in the market for a great river boat this is a very fair price and I assure you it’s a quality piece of equipment.

Sorry 'bout that R--It's just west of Murfreesboro. Basically, it's mile marker 5 on highway 96 west of Murfreesboro.

I'll pm you my cell number.  I'm about to wrap things up for the day in Franklin and head that way.

Hey Ron...why don[t you pull that bad boy over to the store and put a sale sign on it...that would certainly attract some attention....

That's an option, Leo. There has been some interest shown from the fly fishing boards yesterday and today. I'd like it if one of these board member types gets to take her home.
