Brood XIX Cicada is supposed to return this year. This is the same brood from 1998, when cicadas at my house then were just insane. I remember fishing local rivers where there would be literally piles of them in the water under low-hanging branches, and smallmouth picking them off as they floated out into the main channel...

Yes they were very heavy in 1998. I was under the impression that 1998 was multiple broods.
