Thanks for the pointers TW.  I'm looking forward to seeing how it casts and swims.  Now where did I put those thinning shears.....

I haven't tied a 12" musky fly yet, about 9" is biggest so far.

I dig the Voodoo/Kings Cake color pattern. Thinning a bit (particularly to expose another inch or two of flashabou) would likely allow that flash to swing side-to-side more on the strip. What are the trailer hooks -- they look ss?

Got to cast/swim it last Sunday.  It did pretty good actually, pulsated a good bit.  I still think I'll thin a bit and see what happens.  gaspergou, to be honest I'm not sure what those trailers are - they were given to me by Eddie at Fly Shop of TN a while back.  Ready for lower & clearer flows next month when the post-spawn action should heat back up...
