How does it keep silt/sand from going up the drains and into the footbed?

IMO still needs some ankle support and one would still have to wear a neoprene sock.

A good step in the right directions.

What was the problem with this post?

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Mike, I don't know what you're asking or saying...

I posted this the other day- when it didn't go through, I thought 'WTH' and just didn't really care enough to repost it, as I don't actually have these shoes yet, just thought y'all would like to see it.

For some reason, this is the first I've even seen the post appear as I've been using the "show new posts since last visit" feature.  The post just never showed up- Jarrod's Loomis Pro kept showing as the most recent in this category.

Was there some kind of nasty comment on my post or something?

It could have been my 19 month old, as he is found of hitting buttons as I try to type.

It was me. I take the blame. I moved your post to the General Discussion room and Mike moved it back.

I have always thought of the Product Review room as products that have been used but it is for all products and information.

My apologies if I caused any confusion.

I had a chance to take a real life look at these yesterday at a place called Blue Water Outriggers in Port St. Joe, FL. These have serious potential. The insole appears to function as a filter to keep debris from collecting inside the shoe. They are light and appear to be very comfortable (didn't try any on) and being built like a tennis shoe, they would be comfortable for all day wear.
