Corps of Engineers is Killing Me!!!!
« on: July 06, 2011, 12:03:16 PM »
 >:(

All spring and through the start of the summer, the Corps has run less-than-ideal generation schedules on the Caney Fork.  But now it's July - Carp Tournament Month - and so I said, "Well, at least I don't have to worry about generation schedules for a while, because I'll be fishing Old Hickory!"

So what does the Corps do?  They generate at Old Hickory Dam around the clock and draw the lake down two feet!

All my favorite carp flats are bone dry or covered by 2 inches of water!

Waaaaah!!!!

It's strange/funny/disgusting that Wolf Creek can run at night & the Hill can't. I guess MS/LA needs more water so they can recieve more disaster relief funds :-\
