jet won't work unless they're under generation, lot's of dragging anything if they aren't generating.

Low water is a wading thing but there should be releases going on during that time.  Jet boat?  Depends on what boat it is I guess.  We're using a Triton and a G3 and both work very well.  Canoe?  Noper.  September would be a fine time to come for cranes and baetis.

This Could definitely turn out to be a great tirp guys.  Juds is a Prime Base Camp in the heart of Tailwater trout country.
Sept usually has Clear skies, and night fishing could be ago.  Flows will be the determining factor of which waters to fish, but there's excellent smallie water or mtn streams within 40 miles if the generators are pushing.

I'll also throw this out...Late Sept or early Oct, I'd be glad to host a group on the New River in VA.  It's about 140 miles (interstate, then 4 lane hwy) past the State Line at Bristol, VA.

I know this is a Haul from mid TN, but in the fall.....there's nothing else like it for smallies and musky.  Two totally different fisheries, but worth a mention.

I dunno, but it appears I'm going to be in Blacksburg on the 18th and 19th, with boat. Anyone up for fishing the New? Travis?
