SA Mastery Textured Lines
« on: August 21, 2011, 01:45:56 PM »
Tried some new lines on Friday...Streamer Express-400gr and Coastal Express 350gr.  Both the new Mastery Textured Lines.

Best lines I've ever thrown.  Supple, shoot like rockets through the guides, not as rough as Sharkskin, low memory.
I had some issues with delamination of the SharkSkin Streamer Express, so I hope they fixed the problem.  Can't wait to get some more hookups and stretch them out.

I'll give my take on my new Bluewater Express 500gr once I get to throw it on some muskie waters.

Found one taker that evening.....A jackass zipping up and down the channel bank 2x in his Jet boat pretty much ensured no other fish would be caught.  I hate flyfishers who ruin others fishing--I'm sure the bastard knew better.

I liked em at first but I've grown tired of cutting my fingers. Even the new stuff cuts me. I also think on the old line the texture is what was causing the line to crack. Mine got micro cracks all over it but with all due respect it's had the hell used out of it.

For me I'll stick to straight up SA Streamer Express or Rio Striper line. Both are great lines. The SA has a slight advantage in that it seems to stay slick forever.

Nice work Travis and thanks for the review. I have really liked my Rio lines and they cast great. Still need to get some SA lines to try.

I know where you are. Rusty has been calling but I just haven't had the time lately.
