Well it's a network drive so it isn't the HD itself but its the built in trash program that controls it. You can't access the drive directly and modify anything. Once it mounts to the Mac it's an unsolved mystery how to even get rid of the damn thing from finder. It's trash and the reviews are showing it to be just that. I fell for it when it first came out. Shoulda known better.
Now the fact that the ultra portable software only allows you to back up system files is yet another bundle of shiz. I should be able to automatically back up anything I want including external drives. Guess if they let you do that they couldn't sell you the POS network HD.
Bottom line I'll be buying Apples Time capsule (that will with a few mouse clicks back up the imac, macbook, G4, iphone, ipad, itouch, aaannd externals drives,) and be done with all the BS. Once again Apple proves that is doesn't have to be all that hard...
