Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Drew might be 160 soaking wet :D

The same seat (minus the pockets) is on the Coosa. It is like a camp chair.  The high seat position makes it easy to stand too; unlike most yaks, which it is difficult to stand from such a low position. I like mine.  ;D

Evan at 160 he's doing some very impressive stuff for a 30" boat. It's rated for 475 pounds and it's supposed to be a fast boat.  :o

Bfish do you find standing up in the Coosa to be tippy?

I am 230 lb and have no issue standing (other than needing a pull rope to get up, but I think that is more related to my knee).  No issues with casting in flat but moving water.  I regular turn my feet sideways and twist my upper body to get in a few more cast. In choppy riffle water I seat down as I don't fully trust myself to pay attention rather than fish.

That said, I have paddled whitewater for quite a few years, and been fishing out of canoes/kayaks for even longer.

I definitely don't doubt the stability on either of these boats, I am only saying to the in-experience kayak paddler, they are not a jon boat and in order to stand from a seated position and cast a fly rod and be able to balance and fish and to sit back down is a balancing act which will take some practice. I like them a lot!!

That is a pretty sweet ride. I like the fact it has ways to store rods while using one or paddling.

The Cuda does look good and I wanted to take one to the Gulf to try out for a week, but nobody would assist me. So I took something a little better in my opinion a "Hobie Pro Angler".

I covered up to 8 miles a day, and handled swells up to 2.5-3', with water rushing over the front and waves coming over the sides. I was also able to handle this shark standing up, and had doubles for a few minutes until my 60lb leader was wasted.

Damn, that is a nice boat. I didn't realize you could stand in the Hobie. Shark fishing is hella fun, nice work!
