Tims Ford Dam, spill gate opening 10/27/11

lived around this river all my life, seen all the levels of generation but this is the first time I actually was there when they opened the gate, the water was coming down the spillway as I was parking, got it on my Android phone.

I'd say this is the beginning of the winter draw down.
