Old town canoe
« on: February 07, 2012, 06:52:14 PM »
For sale: Old town 147 guide series canoe in green. I have honestly used the canoe one time. It's in near perfect condition and has no scratches. It's basically a brand new canoe priced way below retail, which is $500. I recieved it as a graduation gift in the fall and don't really do much canoeing. I do have a honeymoon coming up and could use the extra cash. Going after bonefish in the Bahamas! Anyway, I'm including two field and stream paddles in the deal and I'm asking $400 obo.
features include:
Contoured seats with adjustable backrests
Ash carrying yoke
Black vinyl gunwales
Polyethylene decks with grab handles
Length: 14' 7"
Width: 38"
Width at 4" waterline: 36"
Bow height: 19"
Depth: 13"
Weight: 74 lbs.
Max load range: 850-900 lbs.

I'm located in Murfreesboro. I would also be willing to drive/deliver 30 miles or so if that helps.

Picking it up tomorrow afternoon - sorry, Steve  ;)  I have been promising my boys I'd get a canoe for the river for a long time - it's time for me to bring one home!

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Mike, thanks for creating a place where I could post my boat. I've sold several things on this site over the years and I feel like I owe you a thank you. This sale will help fund my bonefishing trip so thanks for that too!
