While traveling last week I started reading a novel my wife got for me from the library. When I saw the acknowledgements page, bd immediately came to mind for some reason or other....

Here it is:

" I wrote this book with my longtime fishing partner and fellow journalist Bill Gardner, author of the musky fishing classic Time on the Water .  We have been fishing for muskies together for nearly thirty years, and it was through his intercession that, in this novel, I make musky fishing out to be a much less stupid activity than it actually is. "

Do you see the reports on this page?  Everybody and their sister caught a musky last Saturday.  I chose that day to go trout fishing.

I have no family-friendly words left for those fish.   >:(

Hey Bd, just let some of us know when you want to go Musky fishing and we will know thats the day for us to go trout fishing or stay at home :)

I am finally starting to realize that these fish do not actually exist.  I'm sure it's just a coincidence that all the people who have posted pictures today of musky they are catching are also good with Photoshop.   >:(
