Had a little under an hour to blow off some steam after a stressful morning at the office.  A few decided cooperate.  Just some rock bass, but still a good time.  There was one rainbow trout that I fooled as well, but he got off right as I put my hand in the water.

Nice!  I got out for about an hour just before sunset Sunday evening and caught a FAT smallmouth that was just a shade under 20" on my tape.  It was in really shallow water up under a root ball and I saw it scare up some baitfish as it went in there.   I caught it on a crawfish fly.  Rainbows have been hitting Stimulators in my  area too, but they won't be around much longer...
