Whoa, what a weekend!
A buddy of mine flew down from MI on Friday and we fished for 3 straight days. Haven't been able to say that in months and it felt great to be out exploring new water.
Friday a Pal helped shuttle us on a local Nashville waterway. Thanks Itchus! The first half of the trip was real slow since the water was rarely over knee deep. Did see some cool looking gar and carp. The last half of the trip improved, but wasn't spectacular. Caught some of these guys.

This guy slammed a bloody minnow.

Found this gill very pretty as it really had a nice copper coloration.

Funniest catch of the day was when my buddy hooked into this "rock bass".

Saturday we went to the Clinch and caught a bunch of rainbows. Most were cookie cutter 12-13 inchers, with the largest in the 17 inch range.
No monsters, but they were all very healthy.

Sunday we met up with Brady up on the plateau and waded a pretty stretch of warm water.
Caught an army of French Bass and a couple of these before we had to go.

Brady, can hardly wait to float that stretch. Right where we had to turn around it gets really good looking.

On the way out found the remains of someone's snack.

Hope you all had a chance to get out.
Fred
