Plateau Report 5-17
« on: May 17, 2012, 10:17:51 PM »
Area still waters are perfect now for big bluegill and shellcracker.....Just about anything on top kills them. FCF lake would be a good bet.
Calfkiller dam on HWY111 is barely spilling water which is unusual for this time of year. Recent rains did not help our water levels like I had hoped!
Last trout stocking for local creeks is May 22.... Try to visit creeks before middle of June for best trout success.
Local musky fishermen report good catches using large floaters and live bluegill for bait.
