I've taken up biking. Averaging only 10 miles right now but only because my girls can't keep up. I had no idea there were any fish left in TN.

Road or Mountain? Let's ride.

There are no fish.  :D
Both. Mostly on the greenway right now but we rode the Long hunter track this morning. Pretty fun but that trail is rough and rocky as hell. I'm not a huge fan of the rocky trails but it was pretty fun.

These fish didn't make it. This is gateway island on the Mboro Greenway.

Toddro,

I've been studying up on them carps. I bet they would hit a green/brown sowbug if you could get one in the lane and across their nose.

I've had flies literally laying on their top lip and could't get a take.  I spent 7 hours in one particular area casting to these grass carp, and have one fish to show for it.  Absolutely brutal.  I'm done with them, and I'm going looking for commons...

Geez, it's gotta be bad to kill Goldie. You know that when O2 is low they actually convert the lactic acid produced from anaerobic glycolysis to ethanol, which then diffuses across the gill membranes into the surrounding water?! Kind of a neat mechanism... It allows them a few hours (or more, depending on water temp) survival in water with zero dissolved oxygen.

Remember last year this same fish kill made the local news.  I'm sure the drought has had some impact but those fish are in a shallow man made pond without any additional airation or support.  This won't be the last fish kill unless changes are made.
