Yea, Buffalo respond best to a big clouser stripped fast and across.  ;D

Yeah, they respond alright ... they like to take off in all directions and cause a ruckus!

Todd - what did it eat?  Only thing I've ever gotten them to eat was a prince nymph.

Brown/Tan/Black Super Bugger.  Got it down right in front of him and he sucked it up, but I guess I never got a good hookset...

I catch buffalo occasionally on superbuggers too, but they are frustrating.  I get so many refusals that when one actually eats, I usually have a moment of surprise and disbelief.

The ones I've caught have been on Old Hickory and the Smith Fork though.  I spent several days fishing hard to the buffalo on the Harpeth with zero success.  They are tough.
