Yea BD was overdue.
I was trying to get an underwater image when the fish kicked off and escaped before we got a grip and grin. BD has been cussing those fish for a few years now. He still is.  ;D
I did get this one before he swam off.

We caught many of these.

It was a very nice fish. I missed it three times when the smaller ones would eat before he could. I felt guilty and moved so BD could have a shot and he took full advantage.

I actually think the Musky would have responded better to the fly in that situation. I plan to find out next trip. The live bait thing is fun but nothing brings on the adrenalin like Musky trailing a fly.

One follow was on a big chugging plastic topwater that sounds like bowling balls falling in the river. Followed to the Kayak and spotted my white shirt..

Nope, we would be reading about a new ear ring or trip to the emergency room if there happened to be any females within 1 mile of him fishing ;D

My hat is locked in my truck - along with my sunglasses, vest, and a lot of other fishing gear I needed.  My truck is getting transmission work.  I went by the transmission place to get my gear on my way out Saturday morning, and my truck was locked up inside the service bay and there was a sign on the door saying "Back in one hour."   :-[

I had to make do with a bare minimum of gear that I picked up at the bait shop on the way down.

Don't even get me started on how the Carp Tournament started yesterday and I've got no vehicle to pull my boat until next weekend.
