Beautiful as always, Mike.  I need.to pick your brain on a few low impact hiking trails where I can take my family.  You seem to know all the great spots.
Fish on!

Awesome Mike!  The contrast of the fall colors to the blue sky is incredible!!  Question for ya, do you use a filter for the moving water longer exposure pics?

Nice shots.

The leaves changing and tobacco being smoked in the barns is why I love this time of year.

Great shots Mike.  That 5D is really working well for ya.  I'll be calling you soon for some lens and photo storage advice, when I'm about to purchase.

Those clear skies and bright foliage sure go well together.

I believe you have fully grasped the thoughts of H.D.T. when he wrote, Walden Pond.  Great pics.

The whole purpose of photography to me is to take the viewer with me to the places that have inspired or moved me in some way. Anyone who's tried to capture that moment in time when the beauty of a place begs to caught knows it's not as easy as just point and shooting. All the positive feedback lets lets know that I've caught the emotion that inspired me and frozen it in time. Thanks for the positive remarks.

@ Sam my #1 family oriented low impact trip close to home would be.
Stone Door /Greeter Falls / Boardtree Falls/ Beersheba Springs. This is one large area where you can spend a weekend exploring and discovering.

@ MNFishiner Yes I usually always us a CP when shooting landscapes. Also My 5D III has built in HDR, and as you can tell I was playing with it alot this weekend. It's pretty sweet as long as there isn't much movement. Alot of the images above are HDR and no post processing at all.

Wow!  No post processing and just an HDR setting from the camera? That is awesome!  They looked HDRish to me, but assumed it was just post processing!

Again, well done!

It makes those colors and shadow areas "pop" very nicely, without getting that surreal look that a lot of HDR gets!

Does that camera take multiple images and merge them itself?  Sorry about all the posts and ?'s, photography gets me all fired up!

Yea, it does a three exposure capture then it merges them in camera. I've just started using it and so far I'm impressed. I still keep an arsenal of ND filters with me too though. HDR turns alot of folks off. Especially the purists. I like some of the HDR images and some I don't.
