As you can see from the hysterical (I mean historical) data the discharges at Tim's Ford didn't quite live up to expectations.  Apparently the TVA boys were playing with the generators today and instead of a nice consistent 240CFS as advertised, we got a wall of water at about 1300 at the "Ferry Bridge" which surprised all.  I was wading with my normal hip waders, and left with wet pants.   So much fun.......

This is exactly why you are not allowed to park anywhere below the "high water" level... i.e. the gravel bar at the dam ($40 fine)... unless you want to recover your vehicle somewhere downstream :o
