First musky flies...

First time I've ever attempted something like this. They are not what i was hoping for, need some practice at it. Tried to base it on Bohen's Hangtime. Still waiting on all the materials to come in but wanted to go ahead and spin a few. Really like reverse tying the buck tail. Need to be bigger. One on the left is was 7" and the one of the right was 8.5". Waiting on some longer saddle hackles to stretch everything out a little.

Thanks guys, they are addicting. This one was 8.5". What lengths should I be shooting for? I know I can articulate some and gain some big time length, but on a  3/0 or 4/0 hook, what length (in general) should it come out at?

Well, I got my feathers from Misfit feathers, they are certainly long enough, but the quality isn't great. wish they were a little wider. here is what came for $13.99 a dozen + 6.95 shipping

OLC55 - those flies look good.  Get them in the water. Especially like the last one.

Those feathers that look like a line on the paper, are not turned on their side, they are really that skinny.
