Anybody got any helpful info for fishing this area? I plan to spend some time in West bay. Not sure what type of boat I'll have if any.

We're heading to Destin the 22nd through the 29th.  I plan on taking the skiff.  U taking the board?

Damn we're off by a week!! I may take the Supreme and the yaks or just the yaks. Haven't decided for sure just yet.

All that freshwater sure is very inviting to the Supreme. Yep, it's going south again! An exploratory trip around the springs in Holmes Creek and west/north bay should keep me interested a few days. Looks like a photographers dream place. I'll do some underwater stuff at the springs with a Gopro.  Sure wish I would have upgraded my dive mask before this trip. 

I bet you can rent an SUP pretty easily on the beach. Can't rent a jet boat....

Yes - there is some neat freshwater down there that usually gets passed up for the salty stuff.  If you haven't caught them already, try for some Suwannee Bass - the Wakulla and Wacissa are in the area...  Beautiful fish...

I have heard of nice top water redfish off an Oceanside jetty. I'd take some spooks or padonka donks and hit the stong tide swings.

We'll be down in Orange Beach those same days. We rented a place on Wolf Bay with a private pier. May be talking my lights to put out around the dock to draw some fish in at nights but will fish the gulf side some as well.
