The trails in the upper elevation get spoooky looking when the clouds roll in. Saw a Bear up here Sun. I was happy to see it running away.

Great photos! They're going to get even more spooky when most of the hemlocks die out. Last week I heard that the current thought among plant ecologists is that rhodo hells are going to replace most of the hemlock. That's a scary thought...

Sure would be nice if they would at least attempt to save some of them...

Does anyone know why they didn't introduce a herd of Elk at Cades Cove? I'm assuming too many people??

Elk have a tendency yo be a little more aggressive than deer at times.
