AGFC studies death of large trout
COTTER — Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officials are studying the death of a near record-breaking brown trout in the White River.

Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

Man, that is one huge Brownie!!!!!

Sounds like the lack of rain, and lack of generation is starting to take its toll. I would hate to see a great fishery start having large numbers of trout die.

That is a monster.

It will be a shame if more die and yes Mike, I would hate to see them die below the Cumby as well.   :(

That picture reminds me of a flounder. Probably on his daddy's side.  ;D
