Went to melton hill Saturday. I was suppose to work the morning but my buddy wood duck aka matt was headed to melton hill early and after much thought I decided to ask to go in lake. great idea. we arrived about 8am after stopping for a chicken biscuit. we launched onto melton hill and started fishing away we also ran into billy out there. we skipped past where we knew he had already been hitting hard and headed down stream to my faithful spots water was about 64 degrees. we started fishing some trees and after I snagged a tree matt casted his spinner baits b4 going after mine and had a lazy mid 30's follow. his excitement was sad really

then we fished on and I was tossing a 10" jake in a tree popping it back when the great white musky hit my bait like a shark on a seal. after yelling and screaming to alert the ppl around me im awesome... I had a epic 20 second battle then the musky got a look in his eye and jumped like a dolphin slinging the bait out while at the same time crushing my dreams

that's a frown face ppl which is way bette rthan then what I said so after pouting for awhile we headed down stream some more we fished one spot where I knew a musky was always hiding we passes the tree once with no luck then on the way back through my persistence paid off then 10ft from the boat a musky came out and destroyed my bait. it was awesome I fought it in like a boss and landed her after a very unfun unhooking and a bite to the thumb. I wont mention spots but if ya have questions just email me. we saw 5 fish total landing one and the one I lost was about 48 or so landed one was 42 thanks for reading
