a few photos from Arkansas trip
« on: October 20, 2013, 09:56:01 PM »
Mikes 1st large fish, always fished the Appalachians, he was torn up

Shannon got 3 of these on hoppers.

Was great to have these guys in my boat, both are excellent ++ casters and super company. Shannon wouldn't get up on Mikes first large Brown, just stuck the net in his direction, Shannon paid for it all week, we gave him a hard time, our arms were to short, had an excuse, Mike would make all over how great my net skills was, fun times in the new boat.

Sam out in the yard testing a TFO Mangrove, you can always depend on TFO to be there, SAGE had a few tables but were a no show

LOVE my boat, tiller handle was money well spent

you know you are in a fishing town when you go in wet to a McDonalds, no one says a thing or looks at you crazy.

the crew, minus Everett, he always leaves Saturday early, it's hard to get a group photo in the week, Mike, Shanon and I were known as the hard core guys, on water early and was 8:30 most nights getting to ramp

Sam pointing to a tame Rainbow, as long as you move slow they will let you look at them, they see so much traffic

after a hard day, the little prince would chill

That looks like it was an awesome trip. Your son is gonna be a pro.  I'm sorry that you have to return to work.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Wow, sounds like an awesome trip.  Glad you are able to get out there and share your love for the outdoors with your son - nothing better than that!

Boy, that's a crew alright! Looks like a good time. I have to try and make that trip one of these years!
"Often, I have been exhausted on trout streams, uncomfortable, wet, cold, briar scarred, sunburned, mosquito-bitten, but never, with a fly rod in my hand, have I been in a place that was less than beautiful."
