Scuds
« on: December 09, 2013, 09:08:49 AM »
A friend of mine up north went for a swim in a creek with a healthy scud population (and a healthy trout population, too). A dead drift may not always be the best presentation. I might start tying some with a small sliver of foam to get them to float and swing and dive above a heavy split shot...

Unless he's changed his kit, it was shot with a Nikon D7000 in an Ikelite housing.

That's very cool. Makes me rethink some things.

Those scuds look like mice running around.  I would have never expected that. :o

ALWAYS let your scud swing at the end of the drift.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.
