Does anyone know the policy regarding boating and shore camping on Center Hill and other area lakes?

The way I read it:
http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil/Locations/Lakes/CenterHillLake/RulesandRegulations.aspx

then click again to take you here:

You can camp at the campgrounds, but that's it...

I also know for JPP you can camp on the islands, there are campsites there and they are all 1st come 1st served.

Thanks!
I also found this:

Q:  When do I need a primitive camping permit?

A:  When shoreline camping on Center Hill, you must acquire a primitive camping permit and be camping within a designated primitive camping area. House boaters who are not involved in camping activities do not need a primitive camping permit nor do they need to locate adjacent to a primitive camping area. Since there are a limited number of designated primitive campsites on Center Hill Lake, houseboats should not use these sites for moorage if primitive campers occupy the sites.

On priest the permit its first come first serve on the places where it's permitted. I've never been asked for a permit.

I've never been asked for a permit.

That is the norm.

heres the map
http://www.southeasternoutdoors.com/public-lands/lakes/center-hill/images/primative-camping-map.pdf

stay away from site 2, lots of trashy people from white county, site 4 in the peak of summer will have house boats parked in coves. site 3 or 5 would be good.
i swear few years ago at site 3 ive seen a guy live there all summer with clothes line n all.
site 5 ive seen people camp there, but like i stated before very few.
