I am not!
I haven't done any fishing in the past year and really had little to post. Got out yesterday morning for a few hours and went after some crappie. Got to "my" spot about a half hour before sunrise. Really sucked when the parking area was packed and my area to fish had at least a dozen folks already there! Time to combat fish. I had a short spinning rod and started throwing jigs. It was on. The minnow fishers were getting their share and my plastic grubs were holding their own. Stayed a few hours and landed a dozen with 8 being keepers. A couple might have reached 10 if I had stepped on them and broke their backs but I like to keep the ones you don't have to measure. All in all, I had a blast and caught dinner. I don't want this to sound like I am anti minnow fishing, I'm just to lazy to buy them and tote them around. My little jig box can fit in a pants pocket. That's it folks, carry on...
