If you can't weld it, and vice grips won't fix it, duct tape it.

That's where I found the following:

Duct Tape Kayak Here's my durable, fully functional kayak made with cardboard, duct tape, and glue. It was featured in a news item, paddled by Larry Hoff of the channel 11 news in New York City. - George T. Tortora, Ph.D.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

That is funny Ron. I used to work with an engineer that would really appreciate that. One time his boss went up to look at some of his work on an automated RFID reader. When he got there he found the thing duct tapped to a metal stand. When he asked the engineer why there was black duct tape holding up piece of equipment that supports a $10,000 dollar a minute production line. The engineer replied "Uhhh,,, because we were out of grey duct tape". The boss shook his head and left…. ::)
