Creek Report 4-27
« on: April 27, 2014, 09:26:28 PM »
Made it out to explore a small area creek.

Got to take a close look at some fossil bearing basin geology. Lots of fossils(brachiopods and corals) stuck in the lighter colored layer.

Fished on down through clear runs picking up a few sunfish and green sunfish.

This year the creeks around here seem to have more red horse than ever and  and I was finally able to catch my first one.

Saw several birds that we were unable to ID. Finished up with this nice bass right before it started to rain.
