My new tying vise

Just picked up this "new" tying vise today.



It's a Herter's No. 11, which I believe were made in the 40's.
Makes me really appreciate my Dyna King.   ;D

But, it was too cool to pass up.
Will let you all know how it works.

Very cool Fred. You have to tie a dry fly on that vise.

Nice find! Soak it in a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water to remove some of the rust and then oil it.
