Is the Stones river fishable while spilling? Will it be to high? Can you put in on the Cumberland and jet boat up close to the dam at JPP? Im very familiar with the Caney and other tail waters but not this one.

I've never been on it while it is spilling. I sure you could run it, not sure of the fishing though.

Its rough unless you enjoy 900 grain with a 16oz clouser. If you do go, look at a 6wt scott, fine twig for that application.

Back in the 60-'70's, i used to see boats up that way, don't think i've seen one since they ran a dynamite boat up there thinking they were going to blow the dam up
