Afternoon Trip
« on: August 28, 2015, 10:30:00 PM »
The late summer top water bite is on and we were able to hit the creek at the right time today.
The typical rock bass and creek smallmouth made for some nice numbers.

Then this fish came out from under an overhanging branch.

Foam spiders caught many of the smaller fish and an olive Dahlberg diver caught the fish of the day.
Hard body poppers did not work well on this trip and if you go, be sure to bring some deer hair flies with you because the fish are spooky in shallow water.
Made it back to the car under a full moon.

Thanks Brady. Great report
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.
