So ive been itchin' to get out but every time i drive to the Caney its spilling out the banks. Ive never seen so much water up there! Well so ive been going below the dam at Priest and it sure has paid off! Ive been catching some pretty good fish and you only have to walk about 50 yds! I talked to a guy named Gus that used to be a guide and he told me about a technique where you keep your line and fly off the the water long enough to make a fish rise. He called it shadow casting. Cant wait to figure that method out because he sure sounded like he knew what he was doing.
