I only took the #8 with some big ugly "unnamed" Streamers, you know the kind, if I showed you I'd have to kill you twice. Sight fished to a couple of trout, one was wading distance from Farris Creek Bridge, 24" + fish, it and none of the others were in a feeding mood, we ran out of fish I'd say a mile below the bridge, saw more rough fish than I'm use to seeing.

But the water was 67 degrees at Old Dam Ford.

Don't ask don't tell streamers  ;)

Huntin' for the big ones is fun but then you tend not to fish for little ones.

Prayin' for rain.

SWEET!!

Still thinking about the mud motor?
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

sure am, thinking about dropping over the hill to Scottsboro today and see what they have in stock, the Elk gets semi usable with a jet down around Fayetteville and then you would have to thread it through the weed beds. Just looking and weighing my options.

If the weeds keep growing may have to get a air boat, coworker has a 200 hp out of his Bonanza, he did an upgrade. Find a carhood and have a redneck version:)

The trout stocked water is moss and weedbed factory.
