Smokeys
« on: March 22, 2011, 09:00:09 PM »
The wife and daughter decided to go spend the weekend in a hotel with stars behind it and I decided to spend some time under the stars.  I took friday off and headed up to the mountains and, "See if I could learn what man could not teach."   I stopped by LRO and spoke with a great younger shop guy named Ethan and he hooked me up with some spots, ideas, and off I went.  The water was a bit up, but gin clear.  I was warned to be careful, but the words, "I wish I could go up there with you its going to awesome I was off."  I found myself eager to try to figure out what these streams have to offer.  Well... here are the pictures, Saturday was better then friday, and Sunday had its moments of greatness.  Overall, I lost 6 lbs from hiking, and was reminded about God and his great imagination when he created this awesome world.

These photos dont do justice to this place.  It was tough taking out the camera every time a fish was caught, but all who fish there get the idea.  If you havent been there in a while, go, it's worth the drive.  I was told the campground fills up fast, so call before going.

Blessings
Pal

if someone can move this to the Smoky Mt link that would be great.  I feel like I am taking the SAT---there are to many choices that can work, but it looks like I did not choose the best one.  Way to many decisions on where to put something

Mi Jet Su Jet...i told you......Forget the Dictate(sp) and go fishing; but you instead choose the leather jacket and Maui Jimn sunglasses and a pay check.

PAAALLLLL, lets go fishing.  Leave the Musky to Mike and Jared.   PBR and 6"rs are for me.

Pal please post over the next three months how those jokers (musky) treat you, I am interested to know.  Bank of America called me and asked, Why in the hell are you spending money near the Collins?  I told told them because a pal told me there were musky there.  The Joker laughed and tried selling me ocean front property in Arizona.  I did 16 months for sticking him with my prison shank.

Piss on Musky, I am not that good to catch them, (yes I am, I just don't care to make 1,000 cast; I stopped at 668).  Snook, that's where it's at.  PISS ON MUSKY!!!!!!! (only because I cant catch them and I am not going to cast 332 more times).

PAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

A really great report. I would say you have created a lifetime fisherman with that boy.
