Fished Sat and saw five Musky boated by the entourage of boaters throwing gear (mostly out of staters). The water was pretty stained and the fly got zero love. What I did notice was that at a certain point in the day, around 1 to 1:30 pm central, there was something that turned the fish on big time. The moon rise was at 2:12 pm on Sat, so this could have been the factor... . We saw two fish boated and Dave had one blow up at our boat, but it missed. All this happened within 3 min of each other. That was very interesting to see, and certainly makes me a believer in bite windows... I'll be exploring some new water in the coming days. Hope to learn something new.
