Provo river Utah
« on: August 26, 2019, 10:21:38 AM »
In three hours I should be knee deep in the snow melt Provo river.  I started pulling out my trout gear, and the good memories came back.  What a good run that was.

Hope all is well and here is to a good week!
Cheers

Be careful with the Blue Vein Throbber up there. It's mormon country. If you see a big gravel spot all cleared off, with a ton of big Trout on it, don't cast to them.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Don’t Snook-Set on em.  You’re bound to break off a dozen or so with your salty reflexes.  Have fun up there.  I took Triston backpack troutin’ in that creek where Jay took you.  I hadn’t thrown a dry fly in years.  It all comes back so fast.

Landed 6 nothing over 14”s. Forgot how much fun trout fishing is.  I fished by sr 92. There were a lot of people in the evening.  I was told after I needed to go a little further towards heber.  Went mtn Biking, wrecked, ended up with 9 stitches.

Not a bad life,
Cheers
