Elk River fishing @ the source

can't get no farther upstream unless you swim the spring and go be into the cave, on higher flows you can hear it flowing under rock face, comes out maybe 150' away (that is my American Express hanging in my belt) my late dad always said like the American Express, don't leave home without it.

Good Evening.  I haven't been to the elk in years now.  Loved it and used to go often.  I saw this post and wondered how it was these days.  I used to fish/put in a lot at Farris Creek.  Is that still available?

It is still available, just watch for kayakers.
