Title: Priest 4/12/2007
Post by: MikeA on April 12, 2007, 07:14:35 AM
Hit Priest after work yesterday for a few hours 4:30 till 7:30. Something about those wind advisories that makes me wanna fish.. I guess it makes me appreciate the good calm days a lot more? Anyway as you can imagine it was tough to cast, tough to stay in position, and finding and staying on fish was also tough. We did however manage to get Three Hybrids and one small Striper to take a fly. The fish seemed to be hanging behind wind blown points where the wind currents were gathering all the algae and plankton in a big bowl of swirling soup. This is where the bait were gathered and when Striper and Hybrid fishing you always need to fish where the bait are.
