Title: Creek Float
Post by: dbradyh on June 17, 2017, 02:33:03 PM
Jennifer and I got out for a 12 mile float with our kayaks the other day. We left early and had the entire stretch of water to ourselves.....

The fishing was amazing and we lost count of the fish caught. Grubs and rapalas did the trick cast after cast.
Here is the typical size bass we came across and we also caught some spotted bass and red eye.

The creek narrowed in places and we decided to grab lunch in the shade.

The bite slowed during mid day and I managed a nice one a couple miles before the take out.

Looks like a great day on the water!  BUT...I would have a hard time keeping a straight face while holding such a nice fish!   ;D
