Well, my trip to Utah didn't yield any huge fish, or any staggering numbers. But we had a blast, caught some fish, ate some great food, and saw some really beautiful scenery!!

First night we ate some of the best Mexican food I have had this side of the border!! At The Red Iguana. This what came with my Fajitas....

My buddy had to work in the mornings so we didn't get started until around 10:30 each day.

Day one:
had to stop for a few things.

and then off we went. Drove through some really cool countryside and awesome mountains!!

Oh yeah......the water!!

Thought this pic was funny... it looks like steve is really tiny and jumping on my fly rod!!

Capt Steve Clarke Tampa....

ARRRGGG!!

And the weather was crazy too!!!!
 This is me one minute....

Literally 30 minutes later

and then another 30 minutes

and it went like that for three days, the worse the weather got..... the better the fishing was!
oh yeah, there were a few fish caught too.....

So many pics I could bore you for an hour... but all the fish were about like you see here, I did get my feelings hurt twice by something BIG!!
Great trip I will definitely go back!!

Awesome Yoda, just plain awesome. I guess it was still to cold for dries?

Mike, They were eating on the surface alright..... just weren't interested in what I was throwing at em!! They were eating something in the 26 range, I don't fish that small, can't see that well!! I did catch my first fish of the trip on a dry, and lost a "goodurn" on  a dry. but most of my fish came via streamers, none on the "cat poop". :-[ was that a snipe hunt??? No one in Utah has ever heard of a cat poop fly!! I did however see some "Cat poopie" looking spiders everywhere!

Nice job Eric!  That place can be a tough equation.

The snipe hunt comment made me laugh.

Well,….Looks like you didn't suck at fishing,

I am josening to be out there in the summer.  The winter bowls are great, but the summer fishing I am hoping for sooner then later.
Great post, and please bore me with fish porn. I get board with 7 layer excel spreadsheets I promise a little fish porn won't hurt me.

Looks like a great time Eric.  Just being around that type of countryside is awe inspiring...Those Mormons don't have it so bad.  Thanks for sharing your trip.

Yea, Red Iguana is good in the hood.  It's in Rose Park if I remember.  What's the news if any about wet boots?  I been gone 10 years and it was a big controversy back then.  Were you up by Coalville?  Kinda looks like that area.  I'm off for a month at the end of September for hunting and fishing in Idaho.  I just may quit my job and stay. I'll send pics.  :D

Spent a few hours on the Weber around Coalville, but it was up and stained, so we went back to the Provo. not sure about the "wet boots" thing.
