Good stuff Hunter, the sream shot with the dead trees, was that on account of fire? Love the 1st pic with the barn & naturally the dog.

Grumpy...yes, this area burned in '02, it's on the reservation. Spectacular mix of burn and thick new growth coming along.  I can only imagine that fire raging along those high canyon walls....pretty awesome I bet.

You had to battle through a lot of brooks slashing at your fly, but there were some huge cutts in that particular stream.  Non-native brooks weren't released.......dog food.

wow - amazing pics and scenery.  I'm a big fan of the dog pic too, we have a Golden Lab that looks nearly identical to yours, beautiful dog! That shot would look great framed in a man cave/tying room, etc.

I've got trip to Arkansas planned for Sept 28---Oct 6th with the club

wife is leaving after work on the 4th, bringing Sam out, she will drop him off on the 5th and head home, has a family reunion on Sunday, Sam's fall break is the week of the 7th, I will keep him on Dry Run Creek from Saturday the 5th until he gives out or after we fish on Thursday 10th. That will be 13 days for me.

I only go west to fish HOPPERS, screw nymphs, I can fish them at home  :o and have to, to catch the Elk dinks.

BUT, I have a great friend who moved to Bend Oregon 3 months ago, we need to go out and spend some time with him, has water out the rear end out there.

(he has legal Bull Trout near his house) It was a rush to catch 22" cutties on a dry and have monster Bull's try to eat them on River X out in Montana
