The CPX 9wt I have has landed some really nice fish, nice rod. That said their new Vapen 9wt is very sweet too! Got one this week and was instantly impressed. I've owned all of Redingtons top 9wts and they do seem to just keep upping the game. Very easy to work with on warranty repairs as well. Recently they replaced a couple of my first run (short) predator rods that were broken with the latest 9' versions. Love this company!

For a really cool Trout Streamer rod that’s as cheap as you can get, I love the Crosswater 8wt. It’s a slow action rod, and its cheap, but  I can cast a 250 to 300 grain head with this rod  for days and never get tennis elbow. Just let the rod do the work. It’s perfect for a SUP rod that’s just gonna get abused and broken anyway.
