As expected, I hate highland reservoirs. Pt. 2

Took the kayaks out for the day on Center Hill and got spanked pretty bad. After 12 hours on the water only had one small bluegill in hand. My wife caught a couple pound largemouth and a nice shell cracker. We could see the smallmouth chasing after bluegill up shallow in the rocks and could not find anything to throw that they would bite. Center Hill is my favorite lake to fish, I just wish I could figure out the patterns!

same thing on Tims Ford, found a few female smallies on bed, they are wearing themselves out chasing bluegill out of their area

We slayed the big bluegills yesterday.

FYI bluegill, gulf shrimp, corn, and zatarans crab boil is amazing good!
