My old boat wasn't thin. I never thought it was anyway. It was light. Light enough that I could let it ground on falling water and slide it back into the river by myself. I hope the new boat isn't too heavy. The lightness is what makes these boats so awesome. Being able to carry three people, tons of gear, a big loaded cooler, in a 20' boat that I can move around like a canoe was one of the biggest selling points. I don't think it's that much heavier though. We'll see.
There is not much collective security in a flock of sheep on the way to the butcher.

Looking forward to making twice as many memories in this bad boy as we did in the old one :) lot of people talk about how awesome these boats are and how well they handle shallow water ... but few actually know what they will do and have experienced that it will run very shallow :) doesn't even have to be a heavy dew on the grass :)

Come on....don't be like Craig.....post up at least one photo of a fish...this board needs some fishy pics.

Glad you've been out there.
I'm tied up traveling this weekend and next...but NC has a huge cicada hatch, and maybe there'll be a few left in early June.

Here is a big fish pic.  Hint, it wasn't a musky... ;D ;D ;D
I keep finding more to love about the new rig. The first clients in it just loved it! Thanks to Jarrod I have a nice set of oars to play with, though I prefer the Minn Kota. I've got it wired up with all the necessary electrical stuff done like running lights, Led strip lighting hidden under the rod trays and in the dry boxes, etc. A LED spot that's brighter than the sun for my night time runs. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the bugs actually dive bomb the light keeping them from hitting you in the face like they used to do. Lots of improvements on this boat.
