Title: Creek Report 5-14-15
Post by: dbradyh on May 15, 2015, 08:12:57 AM
Made it down to the creek and caught a few rock bass and a couple of small mouth using slow, dead drift nymph techniques.
Water was clear, low and chilly……perfect for wet wading.

Best fish of the day.

Do you think they've spawned in the creeks up that way?

Maybe. We did not see any big female bass holding outside of cover or chasing small fish out of a nest site.

Gotta love those gorgeous backcountry limestone creeks.  Hope your summer season continues to provide good flows and good fishing for these hike-in trips.
